Union Minister for Information & Broadcasting and Sports and Youth Affairs Shri Anurag Singh Thakur, reacting after watching the film Kerala Story, called it a film that exposes the sinister nexus of religious conversions. Shri Thakur said, “Every sister and daughter must watch this film.”
Shri Anurag Thakur said “Kerala Story is an attempt to present the truth. This film will create positive ripples in India against the fight with terrorism. He said, ” Through this film the truth comes in front of you that how innocent daughters of India are recruited for terrorist organizations by trapping them in the name of love. Through this film, the conspiracy going on for years against the country has been exposed. For the first time, a film has so boldly shown the dangerous conspiracy of global terrorism going on in Kerala to the whole of India and the world. The truth which the Congress and the Left have been denying to the country for the last one decade has come before us today. This is not just a film, it is a document that exposes us to the nefarious conspiracies of organizations like the global terrorist organization ISIS against India. It teaches us how to save our sisters, daughters and children from this monster of terrorism.
Speaking further, Mr. Anurag Thakur said, “Indulging in appeasement politics, the Congress and the Left have stooped to such an extent that they resorted to propaganda and even went to court in defense of the terror conspiracies going on in Kerala for decades. Congress and leftists should tell whether they are standing with the innocent girls of India or are against it? Are you standing with or against this effort to expose terrorist organizations? Should there be such recruitment drives in future? Should our girls be trapped? Are Congress & left parties standing with our girls or are they standing against them?
The minister further said, “innocent sisters and daughters of Kerala were thrown into the quagmire of terrorism through conversion. This is not just the story of them & their parents and family but this is also the story of Indians who love their country and fight terrorism. This film throws light on the reality that how the daughters of India are seduced, trapped in the web of love and taken on such a path from where there is no turning back.
“The Congress and the Communist Party have done the work of covering terror conspiracies.” Anurag Thakur asked whether the Congress & the left parties are with terrorist organizations?”
Mr. Anurag Thakur said, “Mamata Banerjee has done injustice to the sisters and daughters of West Bengal by banning the film. The manner in which an innocent girl is raped and dragged away in Mamata Banerjee’s state puts us to shame. Such thinking gives strength to those terrorists. At least the whole country should come together against terrorism. It is beyond understanding why their sympathies are with terrorist organizations and not with these innocent girls of Kerala who were victims of terrorism. Today the whole country wants to ask her in one voice that why she has so much problem with a film focused on terrorism?
Shri Thakur said, “Those who consider this film as agenda-propaganda, I want to say to such advocates of terrorism that today every child of the country wants to know the story of Kerala which you have been hiding.”
