IISER Tirupati is glad to inform that The National Science Day is celebrated enthusiastically at the campus on 28th February,2025. The theme of the National Science Day is Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science and Innovation for Viksit Bharatand this year themain attraction is a 6 Feet model of Python.

The organizers planned several exciting talks and demonstrations following the tradition at IISER Tirupati Science Day. Apart from the Faculty, clubs, departments, individual students and research scholars are involved in the creation of various exhibits related to science and more than 700 school children and other visitors, areexpected to the campus to witness the Mega Event, to celebrate the spirit of science. Experiments play a key role in nurturing the curiosity and questioning attitude of Science in young minds. Hence, IISER Tirupati is hosting several innovative experiments in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics. They range from a few basic concepts to the latest advanced innovations at the cutting edge of Science.

Experiments, Talks and Showcasing Working Models include:
Neurotomy, Illusions, The Brain Gym, Genetics, Evolution, Shannon Switching game, Citizen Science Stall, Waste Management, Climate Crisis, RF Detector, Snakes Museum, Floor Sheet Game on Snakes and safety. Forest Fires, Volcano, Dams, Oil Spill, Canyon Formation, Types of Clouds and Cloud formation, Fibonacci Series and Pascal’s Triangle, Generation of Pseudo Random Integers from a double pendulum, Math Behind Thread Art, Dark Room Experiments, Tesla Coil, Oobleak, Magnetic Ball Rotations, Bell’s Theorem, Holograms, Light Ray games, Mini Planetarium, wonders of Space.
