Justice Lisa Gill sworn-in as Chief Justice of High Court of Andhra Pradesh

Governor of Andhra Pradesh S. Abdul Nazeer administered oath of office to Chief Justice-designate Justice Lisa Gill as Chief Justice of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh at a programme held in Lok Bhavan lawns here on Saturday.
The programme began with G. Sai Prasad, Chief Secretary to Government commencing the proceedings, followed by the Registrar General of High Court of Andhra Pradesh reading out the Warrant of Appointment issued by the President of India, appointing Justice Lisa Gill as Chief Justice of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. G. Anantha Ramu, Special Chief Secretary to Governor, presided over the programme.
First Lady Sameera Nazeer, Kandula Durgesh, Minister of Tourism, Kesineni Shivanath (Chinni), Sana Satish, Members of Parliament, P. Anuradha, MLC, Judges of High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Registrars, Judicial Officers, Harish Kumar Gupta, Director General of Police, J. Syamala Rao, Principal Secretary, GAD (Protocol), S.V. Rajasekhara Babu, Vijayawada Commissioner of Police, Dr. G. Lakshmisha, District Collector, NTR District, senior officers of the government, and other dignitaries attended the programme.
